He is survived by: his children, Dawn Marie Gifford of Michigan, James Joseph Givens of Michigan and Kimberly Peterson of Michigan; his sisters, April Metheny of Franklin and Peggie Johnson of Franklin; and his granddaughters, Hope Koebel of Colorado and Faith Gifford of Michigan. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
