He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert Solomon McGee and Mary "Mame" Austin McGee; and his siblings, Mary Stark, Betty Freedle, Eddie Lou Bishoff, Bernice Bilbrey, Clara June Duke, William McGee and Virgil McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Wolf McGee; his sons, Mark McGee of Franklin, KY, Kenneth McGee (Anita) of Franklin, KY and David McGee of Hendersonville, TN; his grandchildren, Carolyn Bandy (Jeremy) of Fountain Run, KY, Austin McGee of Franklin, KY and Michael McGee of Franklin, KY; his great grandchild Silas Jackson Bandy; his stepgrandchildren, Chris Plamondon (Kristin), Amanda Plamondon (Frank Briar) and Hannah Bess (Nick Groves); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jenna Bailey, Tristan Bailey, Cayden Plamondon, Hunter Hanley, Haisley Bandy and Kimber Plamondon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews.
