He is survived by: his mother Jerri Gatewood of Mayfield, KY; his wife Suzanne Gatewood (Holt) of Murray, KY; his sister Pixie Gray of Mayfield, KY; his children, Jeremy Gatewood of Louisville, KY, Jack Gatewood III of Mayfield, KY, Tiffany Gatewood of Denver, NC and Amber Gatewood of Gastonia, NC; and his grandchildren, Adam, Emily, Logan, Trinity, Levi, Dani and Izzy.
