He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Meador and Lillian Meador (Crowder); and his siblings, John Meador, Velvie Ruley, Edgar Lee "Dick" Meador and Mollie Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Meador (Hall); his children, Jackie Lee (Jim) of Portland, TN and Kim Searcy (Jerry) of Bowling Green, KY; his grandchildren, Jared Searcy (Paula), Kaylee Posey (Stuart) and Jackson Lee; and his brother Bob Meador of Franklin, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
