He was predeceased by: his children, Gary Carter (Bub) and Jimmie Carter. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Tammy Sallee (Robert) of Harrodsburg, KY, Jessica Towe (Todd) of Franklin, KY and Paula Logue (Brent) of Harrodsburg, KY; his grandchildren, Gary Thomas Popplewell (Julie), Channing Sallee, Curry Logue (Katie), Olivia Hazelwood (Logan), Zane Towe and Blaize Towe; and his nephew Bobby Carter. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
