She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry D. Gent and Eliza Jane Sosh Gent; her husband Jack Peyton; and her sister Alberta Hale. She is survived by: her children, Marsha Herndon (Mitch) of Nashville and Steven Peyton (Krystina) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and her siblings, Ernestine Lewis, Alice Kistner and Oscar J. "Buddy" Gent, Jr. (Edna). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:59 PM at the Crafton Funeral Home (512 E Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
