She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Henry Nixon (Donna Jean Smith) and NJ; her brothers, Robert and Joseph Nixon; and her grandparents, Ella, Abraham Smith and Sam Nixon.

She is survived by: her niece Dorothy Nixon; her stepfather Richard Duffer; and her siblings, Lyndia Daughtry (Aaron), Sandy Nixon, Ricky Duffer (Janie) and Kim Sullivan (Danny).
