He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Albert Vaughn and Roberta Powell Vaughn; his son William Lee Vaughn; his siblings, Bonnie Pirtle, Robin Ogles and J. D. Vaughn; and his nephew Justin Vaughn.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Overton (Mark) of Franklin, Hannah Alderson of Smiths Grove, KY and Jesse Alderson of Smiths Grove, KY; his siblings, Jerry Vaughn (Judy) of Franklin, Ruby Hayden (Larry) of Arkansas, Patsy Harman (Wendall) of Oklahoma, Audrey Matthews (Joe Lively) of Franklin and Cheyenne Vaughn of Franklin; and his grandchildren, Emilee Hughey of Franklin, Clay Hughey of Franklin, Clayden Overton of Franklin, Jacob Overton of Franklin and Matthew Overton of Franklin.
