She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Hale and Tommie Smith Hale; and her husband Joseph Winston Thornton. She is survived by: her children, Mary June Suttle (Ronnie) of Portland, TN, Patricia Ann Rippy (Danny) of Franklin and Ronald Steven Thornton (Budonna) of Franklin; and her sisters, Carolyn Adams and Jane Adams of Tompkinsville, KY. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crafton Funeral Home (512 E Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
