He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eddie Stinson and Bettie James Stinson; and his siblings, Louise Herrington, Katherine Hicks, Maybelle Finn, Wilma Deweese, Betty Carol Livingston, Lois Clell Stinson, Robert G. D. Stinson and William E. Stinson, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Betty Duff Stinson; his children, Charles Herbie Stinson (Rita) of Franklin, Kevin Neal Stinson (Lisa) of Franklin and Macteene C. Bernarte (Robert) of Franklin; his grandson Cody Aaron Stinson of Franklin; and his brothers, Paul Stinson and Johnny Stinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
