He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Howard Britt and Mary Elizabeth Cummings Britt; and his sister Linda Britt. He is survived by: his wife Carol Graves Britt of Franklin; his children, Tabitha Denise Steen (Eddie) of Scottsville and James Michael Britt (Amanda) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Phillip Dustin Steen, Desirae Steen, Austin Michael Britt, Hannah Grace Britt, Jacob Steen, Caleb Steen, Jeremy Steen and Matthew Steen; his great grandchildren, Landon, Caiden and Dominic Steen; his niece Vanessa Walton; and his nephew Tracy Carpenter.
