She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Earl Dinkens and Eula Claudine Dinkens (Powell); and her sister Jean Keen. She is survived by: her husband Gary "Curley" Dean Barnes of Franklin, KY; her sons, Bubby Barnes (Kathy) of Franklin, KY, Walter Barnes of Franklin, KY, Tony Barnes (Rhonda) of Franklin, KY and John Barnes (Courtney) of Franklin, KY; her grandchildren, Kari, Kory, Kacy, Alex (Taylor), Cody (Hailey), Sarah (Preston), Mackayla (Andy), Hannah (Jack), Corbyn, Paislee and Fletcher; her great grandchildren, Knox Rhea and Aspyn Hagedorn; and her siblings, Joe Dinkens, Ricky Dinkens (Brenda), Jenetta Lyles and James Lyles (Donna). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (325 W Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (420 Cemetery St, Franklin, KY 42134).
