He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlo B. Spivey, Sr. and Cora Gladys Spivey (Neal); and his siblings, Linda Seabolt, Ann Carter, Helen Clayborn, Maggie Groves, Mable Redferin, Diane Wix, Roger Spivey, Ramey Spivey, George Spivey, Jackie Spivey and Arlo Spivey, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Connie Spivey of Franklin, KY; his daughter Kate Cooke (James) of Franklin, KY; his grandson Lex Cooke of Franklin, KY; and his sisters, Betty Jo Hodges (Danny) of Portland, TN and Wanda Tate (Max) of Cross Plains, TN. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory (325 W Cedar St, Franklin, KY 42134). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Restlawn Memory Gardens (6324 Nashville Rd, Franklin, KY 42134).
