With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Mai Evans of Franklin, Kentucky, born in Smyrna, Tennessee, who passed away on February 10, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Duke and Nettie Duke (Woods); her husband John Calvin Evans; and her sons, Michael Evans, Donnie Evans and Nathan Evans.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, John Evans (Mandy) of Brownsville, KY, Amie Ricard (Drake) of Franklin, KY and Matthew Evans of Cookeville, TN; her great grandchildren, Micheala Lajuanesse (Adrian), John Thomas Evans, Delila Evans, Xander Evans, Zoe Evans, Isaiah Evans, Ava Evans, Deano Evans, Jashawn Evans, Carlee Evans, Luna Evans, Ricki Evans, Cierra Ricard and Gaven Ricard; and her great great grandchildren, Trident Lajuanesse and J. W. Lajuanesse. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
