He was predeceased by: his spouse Mattie Mae Fehrle Rhea; and his brothers, David, James, Wendall, Bruce, Billy Gene and Donald Rhea.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Rhea (Maggie) of Franklin, KY. and Betsy Rhea Kullman (John) of Bowling Green, KY.; his sister Janie Rhea Mayeur Hall of Franklin, KY.; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Lady (Robert), Shannon Brindley, Christopher Rhea, William Rhea (Jamie), Trey Kullman (Annie) and Kristin Kullman Bateman (Dustin). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
