She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Leo Palmes and Lizzie Bell Bradley Palmes; her husband Gerald Starks; and her sister Bennetta Holloway. She is survived by: her children, Sid Starks (Dawn) of East Longmeadow, MA and Sallie Starks of Franklin, KY.; her nephew Stephen Snider (Barbara); and her nieces, Ann Kaelin (James), Jan Holloway and Susan Helms (Bryan). She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
