He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Edward, Sr. and Nellie Johnson Peale. He is survived by: his sons, Willie III, David and Porter; his sister Vicki; and his grandchildren, Elijah and Iya.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (100 Clinton St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
He most recently served as a member of KSU Foundation Board of Trustee and served as its President.
