He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Harris and Freddie Edwards Harris; and his siblings, Phyllis Spellers, James Edward Harris and Thedore Harris, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Hope Hall (Tim), Faith Strozier (Sabrina), Myla Jones (Jerald), Joshua Hall, Joy Fields (Jeremy) and Will Harris (Kimberley); his daughter-in-law April Bentley (Mike); and his siblings, Dorothy Mason (Andrew), Carolyn Harris, Carl Lee Harris (Virginia), Emerson "Sonny" Harris (Renee) and Freddy Harris (Clydette). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
