The memory of Stanley Wilson Gravitt (Frankfort, Kentucky), who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Gravitt and Bessie E. Gravitt; his wife Sue Carol Gravitt; his sons, John Wesley Gravitt and Winford Thomas Gravitt; and his siblings, Ira Wilbur Gravitt, Linda Monroe, Sue Payton and Mary Belle Green.
He is survived by: his children, W. Todd Gravitt (Ella), Cindy Gravitt and Jeff Gravitt (Jamie); his grandchildren, Kathryn Gravitt Hyde, Matthew Gravitt (Sarah), Mesha Thompson (Ross), Kelly McKinney (Aaron), Erika Holloway (Nick), Nicholas Gravitt and Mavis Gravitt; and his sister Charlotte Grider. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home (1725 Louisville Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
