Shirley Ruth Roberts Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ruth Roberts of Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Algin Simms Roberts of Frankfort; her parents, Dale Fineran and Lena Dierks Fineran; her brother Don Fineran (Jeanne) of Salem; and her son Rodney Roberts (Olga).
She is survived by: her daughter Patti Roberts Pinkston (Ike); her granddaughters, Jessica Roberts and Natalie Pinkston Johnson (Chris); her great grandchildren, Noah Smith, Ruby Johnson and Maverick Johnson; and her pet Bam-Bam. She is also survived by four nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home (1725 Louisville Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Franklin County Kentucky Humane Society or Hosparus Health Louisville in lieu of flowers.
