He is survived by: his spouse Cindy "Granny" Aldridge; his stepchildren, Peggy Townsend, Nicholasville, Cindy Hinkle, Hodgenville Townsend, Michael Townsend and Frankfort; his siblings, Jewell Moore, Lexington, Teresa Blackmoore, Georgetown, Connie Flinchum, Irvin Aldridge, Debbie Aldridge, Paris and Kenneth Aldridge of Irvin; his grandchildren, Cory Townsend, Maria Sanchez and Hunter Upton; and his great grandchildren, Seth Davis, Hunter Davis and Shawn Reed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Fire Departments.
