It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey Lee Hockensmith (Frankfort, Kentucky), who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hockensmith and Mary Bee Hockensmith (Broughton); and his siblings, Clara Purvis (Jimmy), Mary Jane Blankenship and Alex Hockensmith.

He is survived by: his brothers, William, Freddie (Beverly) and Larry Hockensmith; his close friends, Ben Perry and Debbie Hockensmith; and his pets, Radar, Coconut and Diesel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
