Though Rebecca may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rebecca touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Judge John Darnell; her brother Jack Darnell; and her mother Virginia Stanley Darnell of Frankfort. She is survived by: her children, Jack Bolton, Josh Bolton of Frankfort and Emily Bolton Franck (Louis) of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren, Charles "Charlie" and Virginia "Gina" Franck; her sister Sally Darnell Flynn; her nieces and nephews, Marshall Flynn (Susan), John Flynn (Kelle), Katie Hedden (Mike) and Kelly Childers (Pat); and her close friend Thomas Friehrer.
