He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Chester Russell and Shriley Ann Carroll Russell. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Coubert Russell; his children, James P. Osborne and Susan Stamos (Chris); his siblings, William "Billy" Mitchell, Vernon Mitchell, Anna Mitchell Woods (Jason), Claudia Berry, Lucindia Duncan, Jonnie Shafer, Sara Berry, Leslie Massingill and Patricia Wood; and his grandchildren, Kyleigh, Tessa, Mattalynn, Logan and Addison.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Midway Cemetery (258 W Stephens St, Midway, KY 40347).
