He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Lake and John McNees of Harrison Co; his brother John Keller McNees; his son Steven Ray McNees; and his stepson Robert Warman.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Points Warman; his granddaughters, Elizabeth F. Ernst (Milton Baker) and Alisa F. Reed (Regi); and his great grandchildren, Parker Ernst, Noah Reed and Even Reed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church Music Fund or the First United Methodist Church GAP Fund, 211 Washington St, Frankfort, KY 40601.
