He is survived by: his wife Ellen Downey of Frankfort; his daughters, Rachel Downey (James Cox) of Colorado and Erin Colbaugh (Tony) of Alabama; his sister JoAnn Melton of Berea; and his granddaughters, Laynie Cox and MacKenzie Colbaugh.
