He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordie Marshall Wheatley and James Alexander Miller; and his siblings, Avis Sudbury, Lillian Roseland, Jimmie Faye Thompson, Clifford Miller and Joe Miller.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Ramona Faye Miller of Frankfort, Carol Ann Wooten of Columbus, Ohio and Joe Wayne Miller of Columbus, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Aaron Wooten (Tess), Anson Wooten (Carrie), Natalie Stroupe, William G. Stroupe II, Dylan Miller, Kristin Bond and Ryan Wilson. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
