Maria leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Maria’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carnot Foster and Phyllis Barnes Foster; and her brother Steven Foster. She is survived by: her children, Kevin M. Bush Sr. and Teela J. Bush; her grandson Kevin M. Bush Jr.; her brother Phillip Foster Sr.; and her former husband Frank D. Bush III. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home (312 Washington St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (100 Clinton St, Frankfort, KY 40601).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Delta Gems Scholarship in Ms. Bush's memory.
