He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Hyatt, Sr. and Edna Gladys Wallace Hyatt; his brothers, Edward Earl Hyatt, Robert Hyatt and James Hyatt; and his sister-in-law Mary Jo Hyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hyatt; his children, Lewis Hyatt, II, Christopher M. Hyatt, Kimberly Ann Pouder, Melissa Hyatt and Tracy Marie Hyatt; and his grandchildren, Brittany Gentry (Trey), Joshua Naylor, Cody Naylor, Chelsea Naylor, Joseph Hyatt (Amber), Matthew Hyatt, Kayla Hyatt, Jarrett Hyatt (Samantha), Breanna Prater (Andrew), Zachary Young, Kayce Young and Lillian Gallegos.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
