He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Ann Cavins; his son Henderson Price, Jr.; and his siblings, Grace Elizabeth Smith, Fannie Cavins, Mattie Bee Cavins, Dorothy Cavins, Sis Cavins, Buford Cavins, Jr. and Stanley Cavins.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Cavins, Karen Richardson (Greg), Darlene Mosley, Esther Simmonds and Leon Jerome Cavins, Jr.; and his brother John Cavins (Trudy). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fayette County Humane Society.
