He was predeceased by: his parents, Benito Moreno and Pauline Botello Moreno. He is survived by: his wife Irene Cruz Moreno; and his children, Michelle McClain, Cynthia Almendarez and Joe Pena.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
