She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulysses Grant and Kitty Ellender Wombles Smith; her husband Charles Edward Flynn; her siblings, Marshall Keith Smith, Kenneth Eugene Smith, Troy Ernest Smith and Phyllis Smith Knight; and her grandson Jared Scott Hockensmith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Bell of Frankfort, Dianna Gaines of Frankfort, Lisa Wilhoite of Frankfort, Charlotte Flynn of Frankfort, Vanessa Eastman of Frankfort and Stephanie Warfield (Chris) of Frankfort; and her siblings, Beulah Rossberg (Kenneth), Carolyn Goodman, Shirley Moore, Ulysses Grant Smith, Jr. and Charles Edward Smith. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
