We bid farewell to Katherine Wilson (Frankfort, Kentucky), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Katherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Devers and Geneva McClain Devers; her husband John Edward Wilson; her stepsons, Thomas Edward Wilson and Robert Allen Wilson; her brothers, Norman Devers, Robert Devers, Jr. and Joe Douglas Devers; and her grandsons, Barry Wilson and James Todd Wilson.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Wayne Wilson (Tamela) and Donald Gene Wilson (Ragean); her stepchildren, Larry Ross Wilson (Luretta) and Jacqueline S. McKinney (Rodney); her daughters-in-law, Lynda Wilson and Glenda Wilson; and her sisters-in-law, Patsy Devers, Wilma Devers and Kathy Devers. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home (1725 Louisville Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
