She was predeceased by: her parents, John Johnston and Edna Elizabeth Christopher Johnston; her husband Joseph Eugene Hulker; and her brothers, William Garnett Downey and David Downey.

She is survived by: her children, Amy Hulker and Stephen Hulker (Susan); and her siblings, Dan Downey, Carl Downey, Betty Lane and Kathryn Carmack Shields. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
