He is survived by: his wife Ashley Smith Ethington; his children, John Ethington of Frankfort, Jacob Ethington (Destiny Marshall) of Frankfort, Alexander Ethington of Frankfort, Grayson Ethington of Frankfort, Aiden Ethington of Georgetown and Lily Ethington of Georgetown; his siblings, Mary Holland (Jack) of Fulton, Melissa Jacobs (Josh) of Frankfort, Sydney Reyes (Brandon) of Arizona, Christopher Ethington (Angie) of Midway and Kevin Sangster of Independence; and his grandchildren, Jayce Lee Ethington and Annalilya Ethington.
