He was predeceased by: his parents, William Samuel Duvall and May Reese Duvall; and his siblings, Ann Mary Crowe, Tom Duvall and Agnes Underwood.
He is survived by: his wife Sondra Hammons Duvall; his daughters, Teresa Hayes (Richard) and Lisa Cox (Mark); his sister Barbara Capsel; his grandchildren, John Hayes, Joel Hayes (Grace) and Reese Cox; and his great grandchildren, Eliza and Ben Hayes. He is also survived by his daughters, grandchildren, and several special dogs and cats.
