He was predeceased by: his father Charles Simpson; and his stepfather Arthur Smith. He is survived by: his mother Beatrice Payton Smith of Frankfort; and his siblings, Kevin Simpson of Frankfort, Mechell Robinson (Bill Poe) of Frankfort, Joseph Smith of Frankfort and James Smith (Jenny) of Frankfort.
