He is survived by: his spouse Joe Ann Wolcott; his children, James D., Grace "Kit" Stone and Frankfort; his stepchildren, Sharon, Russell Givens, Frankfort and Randy; and his brother Paul. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the FCC Youth Fund.
