He was predeceased by: his parents, James Filson Banks, Sr. and Velma Irene Spainhower Banks; and his brother Robert C. Banks. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Carol Banks; his sons, James F. Banks III (Heidi) and Jeffrey G. Banks (Kelli); his brother David C. Banks (Elsie); and his grandsons, Samuel F. Banks and Jackson G. Banks.
