He was predeceased by: his wife Babette LaFontaine Rassenfoss; his parents, George Rassenfoss and Ruth Rassenfoss; and his siblings, George A., John, William O., Mary Alice and Martha.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Hope (Terry), Cathy Edington (Tony), Frank Rassenfoss (Shiela), Chuck Rassenfoss (Missy), Margaret Hayden (Troy), Theresa Blanton (Craig), Frannie Smith (Alex) and Paul Rassenfoss (Teresa); and his siblings-in-law, Vincent LaFontaine and Theressa LaFontaine. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (72 Shepherd Way, Frankfort, KY 40601). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel (3250 Versailles Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601).
