He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Carroll Tyson and William Burgess Tyson; and his cousin Butch. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Melinda Broughton, Lesia Kilby (Jerry), Donald R. Tyson II (Julia) and Alan T. Tyson (Michelle); and his nephews, Rich and Tim Tyson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grand-children.
