It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Thurman of Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Marshall Watts and June Shelby White; and her siblings, Vickie Watts, Arthur Lee Watts, Quintella White, Jeffery White and Ronnie White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bridgette Finley (Gill Jr.) of Frankfort, Kathy Renna Thurman of Frankfort, Pennie Thurman of Frankfort and Nedra Michelle Knott Allen (Ronald) of Detroit, MI; and her siblings, Carrie Watts of Frankfort, Celiese Watts-Luney of Jacksonville, FL, June Elizabeth Cannon of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Jean Watts Mucker of Frankfort, John Keith Watts of Harrodsburg, Larry White of Frankfort and Eugene White of Frankfort. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John A. M. E. Church (210 Clinton St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Green Hill Cemetery E. Main.
