He was predeceased by: his parents, Harding Henry Clay, Sr. and Maria Davis Clay; and his brothers, James Benjamin Clay, Michael Clay and Harding Clay, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Clay; his daughter Danna Catherine Clay; and his siblings, Sylvester, Thomas, Gregory, Bruce of Frankfort, KY, George (Margaret) of Jacksonville, FL, Roger (Denise) of Atlanta, GA, Victor of Houston, TX, Ann Clay, Roberta Tillman and Tina Cummins of Frankfort, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
