We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2023, Bessie Marie Smith (Frankfort, Kentucky), born in Parksville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Scott Smith; her parents, Rosie Chambers and Alfred Chambers; and her siblings, Clova, Mamie, Jack, Lawrence of Lloyd, W. C., Elwood, Elton, Margaret and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy "Ann" Smith and Steven Scott Smith; her granddaughter Michelle Grace Taylor (Chester); her nephew Ron Worthington; and her nieces, Connie Edwards and Sherry Trimble. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Bluegrass Care Navigators or Crestwood Baptist Church are appreciated.
