He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert Schrader and Lucille Parker Schrader; and his siblings, Ruby Mefford, Paul and Leon Schrader.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Carla McGaughey Arnold of Frankfort; his sons, Dr. Shannon Schrader of Houston, TX and Scott Schrader of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Savannah Schrader of Seattle, WA, Jessica Schrader of Houston, TX, Tre, Ty, Coen Taylor of Frankfort and Parker Anthony of Nashville, TN.
