She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dowson and Christine Troxell Updike; her husband Paul Pittman; her son Michael Pittman; and her brother Duke Updike.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Dale Patton, Randy E. Pittman, Keith E. Pittman, Stephen T. Pittman and Barbara Devers; and her brothers, Ronnie Updike and Donnie Updike. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
