With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Sue Thomson of Frankfort, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna Sue Thomson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reynolds Ferguson and Ruby Webb; her close friend Emma Smith Davis Jordan; her husband George Beatty Thomson; her grandparents, Samuel Monroe Ferguson, Eliza Robertson, Carl Webb and Norma Watts; and her stepson George Anthony Thomson.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Beatty Sexton (Bob) of Lexington, SC, Angela Gayle Hogan (Michael) of Canton, GA and Robert Alexander Thomson of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Angela Michelle Hogan Wright (Brandon), Jared Michael Hogan (Amanda), Anna Kristen Sexton Godsea (Kevin) and Galen Thomas Sexton; her great grandchildren, Abigail Hogan, Archer Wright, Laura Ann, William Godsea and Jennings Sexton; and her grandchild Shannon Louise DeVore.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rogers Funeral Home (507 W 2nd St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rogers Funeral Home (502 W 2nd St, Frankfort, KY 40601). A committal service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Frankfort Cemetery (215 E Main St, Frankfort, KY 40601).
