It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Shirley Brooks of Frankfort, Kentucky, born in Shelbyville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Purdy Gillock and Hazel Bell Booth Gillock of Carrollton, Kentucky.; and her sister Lila Jo Shelton of Carrollton. She is survived by: her significant other Howard "Sonny" Hunt of Frankfort, KY; her son William Gillock Brooks (Candee) of Orlando, FL; her grandchildren, Kyle William Brooks of Orlando, FL, Lee Daniel Brooks (Elizabeth) and Lilly Ann Morgan Brooks of Orlando, FL; her great grandchild Anna Catherine Brooks; and her nieces and nephews, Deborah Dawn Shelton of Lexington, KY, Donna Jo Szarwark (Tom) of West Chester, OH, Michael Scott Shelton (Pam) of Versailles, KY and James Stacey Shelton (Kendall) of Frankfort, KY..
