He is survived by: his spouse Geraldine "Geri" Hockensmith Sanderson; his children, Sharon Scruggs (Bobby), Beth Mills (Mickey), Joe Sanderson (Vicki) and Melissa "Missy" Mills (Brett); his siblings, Betty Carrier, Jane Barnett, Martha Smith, David Sanderson, Wanda Carriss, Linda Moore, Judith Sanderson, Paula Round and Rosemary Sanderson; and his grandsons, Robert Scruggs, Jason Sanderson and Reed Mills. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
