She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Carnes and Troy Grubb Carnes; her husband William "Bill" McGeorge; her brothers, Paul and Oscar Carnes; and her aunts, Goldie Carnes and Florence Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, April Golden (John) and Amy McGeorge (Derek Hovland); her sister Roberta Carnes; and her nieces, Jamie Jones and Sara Hamby.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Inc. (106 Cherry St, Pineville, KY 40977). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens (1805 State Hwy 441, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
